Who pays for this
Coachful does. Coachful also makes one of the products recommended here. That is the most important thing on this site and it should not be at the bottom of a page you have to go looking for.
The conflict
A “best software” guide published by one of the vendors is, by default, an advert with a table in it. We know that. You should assume it until the structure proves otherwise.
So the structure is built to be checkable from outside rather than trusted. Three things make that possible.
1. Criteria before picks, always
Every situation page states its criteria before naming a product, and the criteria are about your circumstances rather than about product quality. That ordering means you can reject a recommendation without taking our word for anything: if the criteria do not match your situation, the pick is irrelevant to you.
It also constrains us. Having published the criteria, we cannot then pick a product that obviously fails them.
2. We lose most categories
Across 16 situations, Coachful is the pick in 9. The rest go to Kajabi, Skool and Circle, Calendly, Paperbell and HubFit.
- Coachful — oursWins9
- PaperbellWins2
- CalendlyWins2
- HubFitWins1
- KajabiWins1
- Skool & CircleWins1
3. No money changes hands
There are no affiliate links on this site. There is no paid placement and no sponsorship. We do not accept payment from any vendor listed, including for a better description.
If that ever changes, it will be stated on this page before it is true anywhere else on the site.
What we still cannot fix
We know our own product far better than we know anyone else’s. That asymmetry shows up as confidence about our capabilities and caution about theirs, and no disclosure removes it.
We also chose the situations. A guide that only asks questions we answer well is biased before a single pick is made. The mitigation is that the situations are drawn from what coaches actually search for, and several of them have answers that are not us.
For a version of this with no recommendations at all, use the directory. It lists the same products alphabetically, describes each at its best, and picks nothing.
Sourcing
Product facts, pricing and feature coverage come from the same registry as our comparison pages, verified May 2026, under a standing rule that every competitor fact must be true and the tone never disparaging. Prices are the vendor’s published self-serve price and change without notice.
